Közért Mozi

Budapest Infoshop and FreeShop - previously at Közért on Tüzoltó utca - are moving into the new Tűzraktér Independent Cultural Centre (now on Hegedű utca 3, off Király utca just before the church as you walk from the Király Tram stop on the Körút.)

The FreeShop opens this month - moving from Közért is taking place today - and the Infoshop will open sometime in December - assuming that all goes according to plan.

This week at Közért Mozi will be SZTRÁJK ESTE! - or Strike Night - about labour solidarity activism in Hungary and other countries around Europe and the world in general.

The 17th is the big day when MÁV Workers and others plan to go on strike - so, we plan to show some short videos from recent pro-Health Care street actions by TB Irtok and other events and then have a discussion of what is to be done in the days ahead. And then, the usual party!

We hope to see you there at 7pm sharp - come early if you like to hang out.

First, I wish to say thank you to all who came to the premiere of 'Route Irish' at Közért. last Friday, Nov 30th. About 35 of us squeezed into that small space and watched the documentary with poor sound speakers - it must have been difficult for some. So, thank you....
