270 Pacifists Arrested in Belgium at Anti-nuclear Protest

270 pacifists were arrested on 3 March, while trying to enter the NATO military base in Klein Brogele in northwestern Belgium. Police officers arrested the demonstrators outside the base, while those who breached the barbed wire enclosure were held by the military. Protesters believed that at this military base around 20 NATO nuclear warheads are stored.

Morze Infoshop is pleased to invite you to a workshop on Bologna process on the 9th of March at Central European University. It has been ten years since the Bologna education process was introduced into the European universities and it is still controversial. On March 11 and 12 2010 the education ministers of 46 European countries will celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Bologna process in Budapest and Vienna accordingly. Considering the current situation and the ongoing protests in many European Universities this celebration is a mockery for all of us. We believe that there is nothing to celebrate.

COP15 - Postreflections

UN Climate talks, COP15, took place in Copenhagen on 7-18 December 2010. It was rather controversial event, as the political leaders gathered in the capital of Denmark to discuss the future of the planet and the humanity. Obviously, the climate and environment keep on changing, and human factor plays considerable role in this process.
